A 21 year old woman from Tromso is charged with having reviewed a rape that never took place.
It was in late November last year that the woman told several people that she was raped by a foreign man in Tromso center .
police started investigation into the case and discovered quickly that the rape was fictional. Now the woman prosecuted for the offense.
She has previously, when the matter was
investigated and the police dismissed the review, not admitted guilt in the case. The case will in Nord-Troms District Court on August 18.
