Arve (28) was stripped of the wheelchair when he was at the pub – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Arve Hæggernes (28) was Saturday night out with some friends at the country bar on Zachariasbryggen in Bergen. Hæggernæs has spina bifida, and is dependent on his wheelchair.

The parked he misses the place in time 2:00 Saturday night, but when he came out half an hour later, was wheelchair sinker away.

– Actually theft top of lowlights. To walk away with my wheelchair is a bit like someone ran off with your legs, says a mildly cursed Hæggernes to BergensAvisen, who first publicized case.

– Never experienced before

To Dagbladet tells Hæggernes that he has never experienced anything similar.

– I’ve been going to the city for ten years now and have never experienced anything like that before, says Hæggernes.

it was easy in the water and around the pier. No wheelchair. Nor was there any who had been joined by the wheelchair was stolen.

Fortunately had Hæggernes his car standing in the center. There lay the crutches his, and thus could a fellow get picked up his crutches so Hæggernes came home.



On Fire match

In the daily, and especially in his job at Espeland Prison Camp, is Hæggernes depending on the wheelchair. It is specially adapted to him.

– Without the wheelchair I had not been able to go to work, and I had not landed me on fire-fighting, telling Heggernæs.

When Dagbladet speaks with Heggernæs, he is at Brann Stadium to watch homemade accept Odd from Telemark. The reason he was able to recover the game, is simple: The wheelchair reappeared. Without so much as a scratch.

– Around four o’clock today I received call from the police, who had been contacted by someone who had seen the wheelchair. So then I went and fetched it, and got me on the battle, tells a relieved Hæggernes.

– Where’d wheelchair found?

– it was found a half kilometers away. It stood up in some long hills, so I can not grasp and comprehend how those who have taken it have got it up there. It must have been incredibly hard.

– Will you think about where you put away the wheelchair now in the future?

– Yes, I have to apparently it says Hæggernes.
