Telenor trouble in Western Norway: – Do not know how big the scope is – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): A technical fault in Bergen led to Telenor customers in Hordaland and Rogaland experienced problems with internet, telephone, sms and 4G / 36 services Friday, writes BergensAvisen (BA).

– We do not know how big scope has been, but we have received customer inquiries from both Oslo and Bergen. It has not been very critical issues, as we have interpreted it, he says and adds:

– But it is always problematic when an error occurs, says pressevakt Roald Orheim Telenor Dagbladet.

Will directed

Orheim says that the company is not aware of the problem, beyond that it is about a technical fault on a central Bergen.

– The traffic is heading back again now. We’ve got routed rerouted traffic from center of Bergen. Customers’ problems will be heading off now. It has not been completely dead, but the service has chopped, he said.

Limited to two counties

Orheim told NTB that Telenor has people on site to correct the error permanently. He hopes now that Telenor customers will notice the least amount of problems, type BA.

The error meant that customers in Rogaland and Hordaland experienced problems with mobile and broadband. The company has not registered problems outside these counties, writes Stavanger Aftenblad.
