A boy from Hedmark is charged with having pushed many girls under 16 to send him intimate photos and movies. He is also charged with having committed two rapes.
The teenager was arrested in early March and detained for two weeks. Friday he was remanded in custody for a further four weeks.
– We want him imprisoned so that he has no opportunity to influence aggrieved that we want to interrogate the next few weeks, said police attorney Liv Hilde Nytrøen in inland police told NRK.
the boy’s lawyer, Jens-Henrik Lien, asked during the remand hearing that his client had to be released.
– The investigation is in its early stages, and he has so far only to a limited extent given evidence about conditions that underlie the indictment, said Lien. He does not want to comment beyond that.
The police started an investigation after a family in Alesund Reviewed boy for threatening behavior towards her daughter.
– It was seized, but it came only one girl. Having undergone seizure, police discovered a great many other conditions, says Nytrøen.
The aggrieved girls in the case comes from the whole country. Police have been in Trondheim, Ålesund, Bodø, Sandefjord, Askim and Hamar to interrogate the girls and witnesses in the case.
– It is too early to say anything about how many girls there is talk about but there is a large number. We have the last 14 days had adapted questioning ten girls, and it is planned several interrogations after Easter, said police prosecutor. (© NTB)
