The man is accused of gross or repeated having abused his son and daughter, by having limited freedom of movement their practicing violence against them or otherwise have violated them, writes prosecutors in Oslo in the indictment.
According to the indictment, this happened in just over a year in the family home or elsewhere in Norway. Daughter was four years old when the abuse started, while the son was only three.
The abuse against both children described as punch with the hand or stick or similar object to both head and body. The father is also accused of having tugged kids and for having failed to carry out proper care of them, like body wash and diaper changing.
The son, who was three and four years old in the period abuse and violence according to the indictment happened , was also on several occasions left in a dark room despite the fact that the boy was paralyzed and could not walk.
Oslo District Court has set aside two days to the issue, which begins on Tuesday. (© NTB)
