Male (40) seriously injured in motorcycle accident in Telemark – Dagbladet.no

A motorcyclist in his 40s was seriously injured when he collided with a car on the county road 152, Folkestad road by Bo center, late Saturday night.

– The man is sent by air ambulance to Ullevål in Oslo, says operations manager Terje Pedersen Telemark police.

Ullevål hospital reports Saturday night that the man is seriously injured. Pedersen says that the bike has hit passenger car in front.

– This happened on a curve. Our preliminary investigations at the site indicate that the bike fell over into oncoming traffic before the crash, says Pedersen.

Police initially thought it was about a moped accident, but the motorcycle was equipped with characteristics of a moped. Pedersen says he does not want to speculate on the cause.

The driver was allowed to keep the certificate after the frontal test, which police was notified clock 23.26. Way past the accident site was closed for two hours after the accident.
