Trondheim / Oslo (TV2 Sport): There was never any tension or other counter proposal that was thrown out at the sports council: Tom Tvedt promoted as new idrettspresident.
He has served on the board since 2011 and takes over for Borre Rognlien. He was clapped into with a standing ovation, and is, only 47 years old, the youngest idrettspresident.
“selfies” and greeting from Gahr Sturgeon
It became known last autumn that Rognlien were giving themselves as top president of the Norwegian sports federations and Olympic and Paralympic Committee (NOC). Tvedt was then set by NOC nomination in April, and have never received a rival candidate.
After the election it was time for a “selfies” which you can look to the left, with the text “Thank you for your confidence.”
Not long after frequented also a greeting from Labour leader Jonas Gahr Støre to its former politician colleague at Twitter.
See the moment he is elected and the subsequent “selfies” in the video window over!
However, it was associated with more excitement to who should sit around the table to the newly elected leader.
Nomination Committee has been criticized for the lack of women in its setting, geographical spread and that many have political ties to the Labour Party.
