There was a bag that was placed behind the synagogue that triggered Campaign. Police have now checked out the bag and discoveries at the site made sure they came in contact with the person who owned it. The contents of the bag was harmless confirms police.

Large areas are blocked off around the Jewish synagogue on St. Hanshaugen in Oslo.
Oslo Police writes on Twitter that they examine an object at the synagogue.
– We got the message clock 20.14 about a suspicious object. We now have blocked off an area around the Synagogue, says operations manager Rune Ullsand Oslo Police to TV 2.
– Bomb Group is on its way and we do not give out any information before we’ve got examined item, says Ullsand.
Bomb Group is now in place at the scene.
– We urge people living in Bergstien between Geitemyrsveien and Waldermar Tranes Gate to pull away from the rooms that overlook Bergstien security reasons, says Ullsand.
– We also encourages people to stay away from the barriers.
Police have cordoned off an area of a few hundred meters in circumference around the Synagogue.
