26-year old was arrested in March last year after having given three Xanor tablets containing a narcotic substance, its two year old son in a restroom at Sandvika Storsenter.

The mother was arrested and charged with attempted murder after the incident. She dropped murder charges and is now charged with aggravated assault. It has a maximum sentence of three years in prison.
The woman acknowledges guilt, said her defender Tore Ihlebæk.
– The tablets she gave her son was not suited to kill some. The dose was not big enough, he says to NTB.
Police Attorney Børge Enoksen in Asker and Bærum Police stated to Budstikka after the event that the woman’s motive must have been that she feared that the child would take from her son.
