Eirik Jensen would pay 120,000 – but could not obtain craftsman – Aftenposten

The man in the 50s was a central artisan in what is one of the most important evidence in the case against Eric Jensen: The renovation of the bathroom in 2005 -06.

The Bureau believes that the self-proclaimed hashish baron Gjermund Cappelen was the one who in reality paid renovations, which the Bureau has valued at approximately NOK 250,000.

Bureau says this centrally corruption charges against Jensen because they believe it can prove that Jensen has reinsurance benefits from Cappelen.

Cappelen even claim that it was he who paid the renovation. Eirik Jensen denies that Cappelen had anything to do with it.

– There is absolutely not true that Cappelen was on the renovation of the bathroom, said Eric Jensen when Aftenposten interviewed him in connection with the book launch his two weeks ago.

– What others Cappelens network?

– I do not know. But I knew nothing about until I was confronted with it, said Jensen then.



– Famous Cappelen from former

The man in the 50s originally Danish, but Norwegian wife and has lived in Norway for many years. He died in 2012, when he was 56 years old. The man was, like Cappelen and more in his hashish network, resident in Bærum.

Cappelen has explained in interviews that the Dane was a craftsman he knew from before, and had used in several contexts. He should not have had any role in Cappelens criminal networks.

From before it is known that one of Cappelens medsiktede also participated in baderomsoppussingen. He is a plumber by profession, and must therefore have been the piping Jensens bathroom. He currently sits in custody in Halden prison, charged with severe drug crime, as one of the key subordinate of Cappelen.

The Bureau has recently seized bank statements to the man from 2005-2007, for to see if Cappelens explanation can be supported by the banking data.

Aftenposten is not aware of the outcome of these investigations.

The Bureau also wishes to interrogate the man’s widow, which she currently has opposed.



Have taken font samples

The Bureau has previously secured font samples of hashish baron Cappelen, partly to examine who really has signed on bills in connection of the renovation.

Meanwhile, investigators managed to reconstruct text messages between Cappelen and Jensen almost completely back to the time where the renovations took place.

Besides baderomsoppussingen, more cash handovers in December 2014, totaling approximately 30,000 crowns, central to the case. At one of these occasions met Cappelen Jensen right at the police station in Greenland and delivered several thousand dollars. At the time the Jensens colleagues in Oslo police set to go undercover at Cappelen.

While Cappelen has explained that this was return favors for help with drug crimes, Jensen explained that this was the repayment of a loan he had given Cappelen for payment of a workshop bill.
