The incident allegedly took place on Saturday night and the police received notification stabbing quarter past five, but is otherwise sparse with information on the incident.
– It is not much I can say so far, but we have arrested a man and charged him with attempted murder. We will endeavor to get to interrogate him during today says jourhavende lawyer Rina Stokke.
She says that the arrested man is in his late teens, and not in the 20s so it was first reported.
– The crime scene is a private address, but who actually live there, we need to clarify a bit closer during the day, before we go out with more information. The scene is now cordoned off and we are waiting for the Forensic do their investigations, says Stokke.
Police reports on twitter that the severity of the man who is stabbed currently unknown, but several reports that the damage are severe. He is taken to hospital in Tønsberg.
– The man who is injured is in his 20s and is in the hospital, but we have not yet something more to say about his condition or injury, until we’ve got a properly update from the hospital, says Stokke.
Just before 11am notify police that the man who was stabbed is not life-threatening injured and is undergoing treatment at the hospital in Vestfold.
