Where dolls Easter sun up this year? – Aftenposten

Quantities of white snow, glorious skiing conditions and warm, long days in the sun. It is ideal weather for Easter.

This week, one in eastern solid replenishment of snow. But most have to wait a few days into Easter until everything is appropriate orange and factor 30 in the sun at the cottage – or Aker Brygge.

Badebuksevær in March

And a gentle March notwithstanding. It could have been better.

Browsing ourselves three years back in Aftenposten, we find a vertical Rolf Sommerstad in swimming trunks on Ulvøya. The date was March 27, and record March temperature in Norway – 22.2 degrees – was measured in Grimstad.

– Was it in March? I thought it was the end of April, said Sommerstad three years after soltibederen was a warming vårtegn for Norway. He has stopped going to the mountains at Easter, and investing in new doses of vitamin D for years.

– I sat out in the sun today. I got three hours. It was so you could sit shirtless. What I will be at Easter? Take it slow, says Sommerstad (75), which lives up to the name and is delighted that favorite season is approaching.

overcast and stormy mountains

But Saturday night darkened Oslo -himmelen and wind rustling through wet streets. At Meteorological Institute ticking storm messages into. Observation stations along the coast and Rogaland report storm.

– A low pressure in the west makes it cloudy to here. It gives much southerly wind and takes the precipitation that will provide snow and difficult conditions in the mountains of southern Norway. It touches throughout southern Norway, but is worst in the mountains. No good idea to drive there now, said state meteorologist Aurora Stenmark.

On the weather forecast for the mountain passes it Yahtzee in warning triangles. At Myklebust Mountain in Sogn og Fjordane was at 29.7 m. / S. wind 19 clock Saturday.

Who gets the best weather for Easter?

– Rusk weather is approaching the west coast and will get here before it spreads to the northwest, reports Stenmark.

– Is it better?

– There we pass, but it can be scattered showers early Sunday in Oslo and eastwards. From Tuesday onwards we get northerly winds and it will be a little colder, so it seems to be pretty nice weather in eastern, periods of sunshine and little rainfall.

– And where are best of påskevær?

– I do not think it gets too bad around the Oslofjord. It could be a comfort to those who have no cabin to go. In the mountains of the eastern areas remain in laugh, and it may be fine at Hafjell and around Lillehammer, says Aurora Stenmark.

In Eastern Norway will be a little cooler, so skiing conditions will remain while precipitation comes as white crystals.

North and down with the Easter sun

In the west it will take a little longer to get away gray weather, while statsmeteorologen see few rays of sunshine for people north.

– The low pressure heading north, and I can not immediately see any bright Easter in Trøndelag and northern Norway. In the southern mountain areas, Hovden, increases the chances of sun beyond Easter, perhaps closer to the end.

Focusing on deckchair year

Neither Hoven, Haugastøl or Heggelia are places Rolf Sommerstad covet now. He hopes a hot bypåske.

– I looked at Yr.no that it would be good and some sun each day perhaps, here in town, so I go up enough to swimming pond in Grorud.

– If you bring your sun lounger year too?

– No, I think not. But I hope the weather will be good enough that I can bring a chair and enjoy myself in the lee of the dam.
