It was Thursday 30th June in 17 time that a woman (19) on a bicycle was shot in the leg on the way from work. The incident occurred in Bjoerndalen just south of the entrance to Nyveilia.
Splice after cut
On Wednesday morning there came a grown man at the police station on Heimdal and admitted that he was behind the shooting.
– It was not his intention to take the runner and he shot for a cut. Footpath and cycle track is not visible from where he stood and shot. Deciduous trees block your view, says chief investigator Geir Bakkhaug at Heimdal police.

– Questioned on drive
The man is being questioned as a suspect and explanation his with the actual information in the case says Bakkhaug.

It is up to a police lawyer to decide which sanction the man will eventually get.

Had to emergency
The projectile went so far into her leg that she had to be sent to the emergency room at St. Olav’s Hospital to get the deformed projectile operated out. It’s probably about a lighter type of weapon. It can be talking about an air rifle.
– She has been lucky in terms of where the projectile hit. If it had hit somewhere else this could have been much worse, said Bakkhaug Tuesday afternoon.
