Nordhordland County Court writes in the judgment that it is not found a case in Norwegian jurisprudence that can be compared with this.
the court has deemed it appropriate to impose defendants detention instead of the normal time limit imprisonment and shows among other things that the defendant has previously been convicted for serious cases of violence. The court has considered the danger that the defendant may repeat as serious criminal offenses in the future. It appears that there was little that was needed that he killed Monika Sviglinskaja.
