the passengers stayed overnight in Valldal
There was a group of Ukrainian tourists in the bus, which was coming down from Trollstigen towards Valldal when the accident occurred. Altogether 16 people were sent to hospital.
The around 20 Ukrainians who came unharmed from the accident was housed on Muritunet rehabilitation center in Valldal center after the accident. They stayed there Saturday night.
– They’ve got both breakfast and lunch. We have organized transport on, we’re just waiting on the green light from the police, says deputy mayor in Norddal Municipality, Per Magnus Berdal, said.
The municipality has been prepared for what happened Saturday could happen. Valldal lies on the road between Trollstigen and Geiranger – with much tourist traffic during the summer.

Several accidents involving tourist buses in recent years
