Boy (15) no longer critically injured – BergensAvisen

Friday afternoon it was announced a serious traffic accident near Bergen.

Two cars had front collided at Rongesundet bridge. In cars put it together ten people, all of which were damaged to varying degrees.

Saturday enlightened Bergen Health that a 15 year old boy was critically injured while the condition was serious five. Four minor injuries.

The hospital says Sunday that 15-year-old seriously injured.



Seven of Øygarden

Operations Lars Geitle reports Sunday that one car was a Toyota Avensis Verso, registered for seven people.

In this car there were two adults and five children under 18 years, and everyone in the car was resident in Øygarden.

In the second car, a Mazda, put three people. The driver, a 63 year old woman, resident in Åsane. The other two were resident in Lindas, and are 72 and 66 years old.

The female driver is bruised, while 72-year-old seriously injured. The 66-year-old female passenger is seriously injured.



In the opposite lane

It was immediately established that there was a violent collision, and huge resources were sent to the site.

Two of the children were flown to Haukeland helicopter shortly after the accident. Six ambulances, a number of fire trucks and at least three police cars worked on site in the hours afterward.

Police scene commander, Frank Listøl, lighted to BA that the accident occurred when one car came in the opposite lane and collided head-on . There were seven people in one car, and three in the other.

– We have several witnesses and a good overview of what has happened, said Listøl.

The case will be investigated of Sotra and Øygarden sheriff’s office. This weekend it will be treated, however, of the Crimean Guard at Bergen police station, stating Saturday to BA that they have no new information that they want to go out with.

NPRA’s accident did research on the scene shortly after the frontal test .

Mayor: – hoping for the best

Saturday spoke BA with Mayor Øygarden, Børge Haugetun.

– Now we just hope for the best, said he said.
