Left agree with FRP for new CO2 taxes – Dagsavisen

– We have agreed that we need higher taxes on what we want less of, namely pollution and CO2 emissions, much less tax on what we want more of, namely employment, businesses and environmentally friendly behavior, says Trine Skei Grande to VG.

She is supported by Jensen, who is willing to increase fees.

– But the assumption is that the money that comes into the increased pollution fees, handed out again at the other end; to the people and businesses, so that the general reducing taxes, says Jensen told the newspaper.

Skei Grande put pressure on the government green shift in early July, and she has exhibited harsh demands for further support to the bourgeois government.

This week, Norway entered into a partnership with the EU commits to cut 40 percent of CO2 emissions by 2030.

– We have already raised 8 billion in green tax shift, but it has not been so easy to see. Now we’re going through difficult choices and changes that people will notice, says Skei Grande.
