– Knowledge of labor market needs as part of social studies in the first grade of secondary school, says the Conservatives’ labor spokesperson Stefan Heggelund, to NRK after a round of Confederation summer patrol.
A youth should have asked politician why they do not learn about labor rights in school, and now he wants to change the curriculum.
Heggelund believes that young people should learn about working hours, breaks, work contract, tax returns and pay slips.
Leader LO, Gerd Kristiansen, says to NRK that it is a wise suggestion.
– I must say that I applaud the Stefan Heggelund comes here. If there is anything we see deficiencies, it’s the knowledge of how society as labor after all is part of, working, says Kristiansen.
