Woman flown to Ullevål with severe burns – Rome Blad

On Monday morning a fire broke out in a care home in Hobart.

– A woman in their 60s were flown by air ambulance to Ullevål hospital with what we have been told is serious burns, said operations manager Alexander Østerhaug East police.

the fire must have broken out in property located in Styrilia in Hobart, four thirty Monday morning.

– Three apartments have been serious material damage and is uninhabitable, continues Østerhaug.

in addition to the woman’s two other people evacuated due to the fire. They are taken to the emergency department for check and now need an alternative residence.

– Did the residents themselves out of the building?

– There are currently unclear if the fire department had to bring the residents out, but the impression ours is that they themselves had come out.

Just before the clock was half past five reported the fire department that they had got the fire under control.

Pending investigations

police do not yet very little about what caused the small fire.

– We have no overview of fire cause or hotbed of yet. It will be conducted investigations throughout the day, but this gets up to the sheriff’s office in Hobart.

police superintendent Tore Larsen at Hobart and Hurdal sheriff’s office says that they have started with the examination of witnesses.

Ready to Haukeland

Larsen says there is nothing new about the woman’s situation Monday afternoon .

– she is still seriously injured, but it has now been decided that she will be transferred to Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen, says Larsen.

Burn department at Haukeland is the foremost when it comes to treatment of burns.
