Of parents accused of having abused baby to death – NRK

Parents Princess came to Ahus with the severely injured his son on 15 December 2014. The boy died five days later at the hospital.

The findings in the autopsy report of the death led to the parents then were arrested and charged with aggravated assault to death.

Now the couple accused of having abused his son so that he died of his injuries.

Recognizing not guilt

According to the indictment, his father repeatedly have shaken and bumped his son so that he suffered head injuries and broken rib. He is thus accused of having carried out the abuse.

The father’s lawyer, Arne Gunnar Aas, said that his client did not acknowledge guilt.

– he has throughout the process claimed he has made the accusation and indictment involves. It is a position he maintains. His explanation is that he at no time has caused harm to the child and beyond that he can not explain how these injuries are inflicted.

– He dreads the actual trial, but is aware that he has to go through this process and will have to take what comes, says Aas.

Mother charged with complicity

Mother must have been present at several of violence incidents and are thus charged with complicity.



Morens lawyer, Bjorn Rudjor, said the woman did not acknowledge guilt, neither of abuse or involvement.

In the indictment it says that the mother should have failed to prevent the violence despite the fact that she had the time and opportunity to stop the abuse.

– My client acknowledges not guilty. She is aware that has not abused his son or contributed to maul him. Now dread she naturally enough this trial.

In questioning the mother explained that she was trying to get her father to stop the abuse, but Rudjor will not get further into the details of what happened prior to the death.

the trial will likely come up in the Oslo District Court in November or December. The government has 11 days to litigation.
