Larger than expected

having been in northern Norway on halibut fishing, let the trip to Storfjorden og Romsdal in hopes of getting conger on the rod.

Storfjorden is known for high havålbestand.

cohabitants Kato André Boe had been fortunate to draw more conger over 10 kg.

Johansen was not as skillfull their capture, but had decided that she should have conger over 10 kg, which is considered to be a big conger.

Some nights afterwards they rose again by the sea and fishing for conger.

Eventually, snatched it, but Johansen thought simply not there was a conger she had on the hook.

– Even small conger can be brutal and squirm a lot, but this was rather lax, says Johansen.

But when deep sea eels were about 15 meters from the shore, it began to make great opposition.

– it’s the best thing I’ve experienced, Johansen says.

she notes that it was so lively that she had into the sea while she pulled it out.

They take up deep sea eels in landing net, partly to protect it, but all the room from deep sea eels, should have made it challenging to gain control over it.

Johansen says that she has caught halibut, but unlike halibut, so must conger dragged ashore quickly.

on each occasion

cohabiting couple are both very interested in sport, but when they met, it was just even more fishing.

once a year, usually cohabitants May Liza Johansen and Kato André Boe, putting off a week to do nothing other than to fish.

She says that the only fish in the sea, and that they put out hunting again.

There are also more specialized fishes which is a real treat to get, and Johansen says she forwards committed to getting Striker Kate and shoe last on the hook.

How long have you been fishing?

– There is an interest I’ve had all my life. I’m from Tromso, so I could probably fishing before I could ride a bike, Johansen says, laughing.
