Consumer Council asks travelers sure rights – Sunnmørsposten

– You may be entitled to standard compensation and redress when the flight is canceled when it is within the airline’s control. The size of the standard compensation ranges from 250 euros to 600 euros, depending on how far you were going to fly, says director of consumer service Ingeborg Flønes Consumer Council said in a statement.

There are rules that apply to all passengers traveling on airlines that fly within the EU / EEA area.

The Consumer Council has requested a meeting with Norwegian as a result of the company was the first weekend of July had to cancel several flights. The reason was that an overtime agreement between the airlines and the pilots outlet.
