Psychiatric patient stood behind threat to aircraft at the airport – TV 2

A Widerøe aircraft at Flesland Airport in Bergen was late Friday night evacuated after a threat. The plane with flight number WF599 would fly to Kristiansand clock 10:15 p.m..

Passengers should just have sat in the plane when they were told about the threat.

– The threat came in via Widerøes systems on their chat service, said operations Vibekke Naess in Hordaland Police to Bergens Tidende.

Psychiatric Patient

At 00: 30 am on Saturday confirmed the police that the threat was real.

They tracked down the woman who had come with the threat and confiscated her phone.

– She’s a psychiatric patient and is now being considered by the institution, said operations manager Hans Eirik Thue.

Stood far from the terminal

It was never necessary to evacuate the entire airport.

– The plane is located away from the terminals so there is no question of evacuation of the airport, said flyplassjef Aslak Sverdrup TV 2.

The passengers will be rebooked on other flights Saturday and had to spend the night in hotels.
