* Government and cooperative parties leave on May 11 submitted proposals for the reorganization of the Norwegian railway. The case dealt with in Parliament Monday.
* According to the proposal, the state shall continue to own all the railway infrastructure. An overarching railway directorate will add long-term plans for infrastructure, book train service and post execution stretches to tender. The Directorate will coordinate the entire traffic offer of Norwegian railways and coordination with other public transport.
* A state enterprise infrastructure independent of the Directorate shall operate, maintain and build railway infrastructure, shining, stations and signaling systems. The unit will manage all rail property in Norway.
* Several construction, operating and maintenance tasks should be gradually exposed to competition. Tenders will be announced infrastructure undertaking.
* NSB-owned Mantena, who runs the workshop service of rolling stock will become an independent company directly under the Ministry of Transport.
* The rolling stock – which locomotives, carriages and motor vehicles – will either owned by Mantena or infrastructure undertaking. Now owned by operators NSB.
* NSB will continue as state transport company but are deprived property company Rom, supply the train maintenance Mantena and rolling stock.
* Airport Express Train to compete on several stretches than just to and from Gardermoen, just like other rail companies.
* There shall be established a common ticketing system for all companies on the Norwegian railway.
