Krekar case must be investigated further – Altaposten

It informs Public Prosecutor Katharina Rise of Public Prosecutions to NRK.

– We have today decided to send the case back with orders additional investigation. We have set a deadline for feedback in July, says Rise.

In February came Krekar statements in an NRK interview that led police charged him publicly inciting crime.

His lawyer Brynjar Meling says Public Prosecutions decision could have implications for the detention issue. On previous incarceration meetings police have argued for continued detention of Krekar because an indictment would be ready before the summer – but so are the words do not.

– There is therefore a danger that he is improperly detained, something we also have feared earlier. Now we will consider whether we should pray that he be released next remand, says Meling. (© NTB)
