SANDVIKA (AP) The father of the girl who is accused of the murder of Anna Kristin Gillebo Backlund (30), according to Small Devices did not understand how dangerous her daughter could be.
In October 2013, 15-year-old moved from Bjerketun adolescents care center in Bærum to the apartment to the treatment center Small Entities in Asker.

– The biggest mistake that occurred in the system was when she was moved from Bjerketun to Small Devices. On Bjerketun she made progress. She was sheltered, and they had taken from her everything, she had only a mattress, explains the danger in Asker and Bærum District Court.
He explains that the girl received a reward if she showed progress. The reward could be that she, for example, gained access to a pencil instead of a charcoal.
The girl stayed at Bjerketun in about a year.
– There was a positive development. But as far as I understand, got superior message from someone higher in the system that her place had to be given to other patients. It started going the right way, but she would like. The idea was that you could not stay in a hospital, but have a care base, said the father.

– Employees were afraid of her
– But it is not Small Entities are guilty. They took on a job they should never have had. They did a good job in trying to prepare her for the move, but they had not understood who they had been given responsibility for. They did not understand the underlying risk of violence and how it had been in recent years.
According to the father was the youngest employees of Small Units set to follow his daughter.
– They thought that the big, old men were not able to fit in a 13 year old girl. Instead, they chose some young women. But they were the scared her, and when my daughter was triggered, explains his father.
The father says he has experienced that managers in small units have laughed when he tried to tell them about violence risk.
– You can not be afraid of a 13 year old, it was said.
– I’ve always thought that small units have been too small for sure. And it applies to the whole period. The staff did not have enough experience with young people who were dangerous. It was a pretext. When she said she was going to kill yourself, no one believed in it, explains his father.
Managers at Small units will testify in court on Monday.
He explains that her daughter on the closed section was won by four adults threw herself over her if she did something irrational and was disruptive.

Expecting phone
The father says that the summer 2014 daughter had been on holiday with family members. Among other things, they had been fishing, and the girl had a cod.

– I noticed that the changes in Asker characterized her. It was rigorous, almost like Bjerketun. Many bad memories that came up again. It was not the same spark of life. Some of the employees resigned from her after machete episode, explains his father.
He went around and waiting for something to happen.

28. October the father dialed one of the leaders of Small Devices. The night before he had his daughter killed Backlund with a belt and a knife. The resting night watchman was awakened by the girl with a knife in his hand.
– I was told that there had been an incident. I thought she had hurt herself. But then he said that she had killed the night watchman. There is not a phone that no one deserves to get, said the father.
The first time the father saw his daughter after this, was on remand hearing in Asker and Bærum District Court. The first time was 15-year-old in custody on Bredtveit women’s prison in Oslo.
– I broke down after the remand hearing. And the drive up to Bredtveit is like driving into a concentration camp, said the father.
After this girl has been under observation by Eiker psychiatric hospitals. In recent months the 15-year-old has been in custody at Bjørgvin youth prison in Bergen.
– It has exceeded all expectations, so all honor to those who’ve been around her, the father said.
– A sunbeam

She was then placed in an emergency shelter with her own father. In 2011 he moved to Bærum. The next year was marked by several episodes.
Attempted to light duvet
The most serious occurred in April 2012, when her father and his new partner was woken by the girl tried to set fire to the duvet theirs.
– There was shock of my life. We were awoken by a strange smell in the room, nail polish remover. We saw her, but it was not possible to make contact with her, I thought she went in her sleep. – There came a long breath . Then she told that she had thoughts about killing. She would ignite us and burn down the house. She would do the same with their mother. Then she would go out in the woods and live like a free warrior, explains his father.
He alerted the police – and later the girl was placed on adolescent psychiatry in Drammen.
His father was with her the whole time there, in all the eight weeks.
– She worked worse and worse there. There was a lot of pressure on Bjerketun, but they had not opened yet. But they were forced to open for my daughter. They were not approved for coercion against patients yet, so it was I who had to stand for restraint at first, explains his father.
