Widerøefly with engine trouble – 26 people on board – Aftenposten

The airport was put on high alert, but a little over 14 o’clock the plane was safely down.

The alarm clock went 13.38, according to Bergen fire.

– There is a machine that comes from Molde, and the crew has turned off the engine and asked to have a priority landing, says Richard Kongsteien, Communications Director of Widerøe.

– Why is the engine switched off?

– I do not know.

He said that there are 23 passengers and three crew members in the machine from Widerøe whose flight number WF 515

– We have increased our preparedness, confirms Airport director Aslak Sverdrup at Bergen Airport Flesland.

There is a Dash- machine with 26 people on board.

The plane would land route for clock 13.50.

– It is reported that the plane has problems with an engine. We send crews from three stations and all tank cars, says Sigbjørn Villanger, duty operator at the 110 call center in Bergen.

Ben Vikøren by the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) confirm the information.

– Plane has shutdown an engine, but the other works, he said.

According HRS informs clock 14.05 the plane is expected to land in a few minutes.
