- Tommy Sharif does not recognize himself in the indictment – NRK

– He does not recognize himself in the indictment that has been taken out against him. But he is going to give an explanation to the police when we get access to documents and other information, said John Christan Elden told NRK.

Tommy Sharif was on Monday arrested and charged bounndragelse. According to the indictment shall Sharif have evaded up to three million, says Elden.

– He is contesting this, says the experienced defense attorney.

– He is not submitted any grounds from the police yet, and we must await the coming of their accusations, says Elden.

– How is he?

– He is surprised that the police stood at door and picked him up. Had they wanted interrogation, they called him or given notice, he had faced up.

Also brother was arrested

Police said they had seized “a large sum of money” during the search at least three addresses associated Tommy Sharif.

The police must count the money until they know how much it is.

Also Tommy Sharif’s brother was arrested in the operation. Police Attorney Charlotte Benneche tells NRK that he was arrested because of discoveries they made during the search.

Currently, he charged with handling stolen goods, but the police do not exclude that the indictment be extended.

– The investigation has revealed that there is reason to suspect him, saying Benneche.

Believe Sharif took out millions

Tommy Sharif has many companies that have gone bankrupt recently. According to the bankruptcy estate owes the companies nearly 100 million to various creditors.

The bankruptcy estate has also meant that Tommy Sharif in a short time took out several million of the companies before they went bankrupt. They believe this is money that does not belong to him, but creditors.

So this is a suspicion the police currently share.

– Police suspect that there has been bounndragelser, it will say that they have withheld funds from the creditors of the company, including from bankruptcy, says Benneche NRK.
