Fly at Bergen airport had to be evacuated after threat – Aftenposten

The threat as scheduled WF599 from Flesland Airport in Bergen to Kristiansand, get BT lit.

– The threat came in via Widerøe their systems on their chat service. We keep on exploring sender, said operations Vibekke Naess in Hordaland police district.

Passengers should just have taken up positions on board the aircraft when they were told about the threat situation.

Airport Manager Aslak Sverdrup confirms that Avinor has received a threat against an aircraft at Bergen Airport Flesland.

Passengers moved

– The aircraft is not at the terminal, but is parked further away, Sverdrup said.

All passengers are moved to the opposite end of the terminal building where the plane is.

The plane was going after route moved from Bergen clock 22.15. Several planes that would land later postponed its landingstid.



– Had just gone into

Tomas Fordelsen (37) was one of the passengers on the plane.

– We had just gone into the plane when we were told that there had been a threat. We had to leave the plane and go back to the terminal. Here we must wait until the plane is searched, he said.



Second Time

This is the second case this year where a Widerøe aircraft at the airport received a threat.

In March put forward a woman a threat over Widerøes chat service on-line.

terminal building of the airport had then completely evacuated, since the plane was parked at the terminal. The woman (18) was found and arrested.



– Over 30 passengers

Widerøes communications manager, Konsteien, writes in a message to BT that the police are those who have the responsibility to speak in the case.

According Fordelsen there were over 30 passengers on the plane, including a child.

– police ask all passengers to show identification. We asked if we have done us some thoughts on who might conceivably wish us evil.



Known phenomenon

Bergen Airport is familiar with threats also from earlier. In 2013 was Flesland evacuated for two hours, after a woman called in a bomb threat.

The woman and a man who was also on the call, was later convicted.
