Five households were evacuated after gas leak at the refinery in Tønsberg – Sunnmørsposten

The leak occurred in connection with the fuel tank inside the area.

– The refinery is not evacuated. We are talking about a 500-meter zone around a filling station outside the fence at the refinery, says press officer Per Ellertsen by Esso Slagentangen to Tønsberg Blad.

Five homes in the immediate area should however be evacuated, according Ellertsen.
