40 year old motorcycle driver seriously injured in accident – Varden


 All emergency services pulled out Saturday night in a traffic accident on road 152, Folkestad road, in Bo.

  There has been a collision between a motorcycle and a car, police said.



 From Mid-Telemark

 Operations Tore Grindem informs Varden Sunday morning that the police have not received more feedback from the hospital on the damage, but that he is severely injured. The driver of the motorcycle is 40 years old and have the address in Mid-Telemark.



 Summoned ambulance

 Motorcycle driver should have been seriously injured in the accident and additional assistance was summoned.

  It was requisitioned a helicopter ambulance to the spot, police said on.



 Flown to hospital

 Early Sunday morning police officials that the injured motorcycle driver is flown to hospital after the accident.

  This person is flown to Ullevål Hospital with serious injuries.

 Way past the accident site was closed in scant two hours after the accident. Road Traffic Management Centre reports around the clock 1:30 that the road is reopened between Midtbygda and throat.



 Moped Signs of heavy MC

 Telemark police announced early Sunday morning that there was a heavy motorcycle that was involved in the accident, but the vehicle was signposted belonging to a moped.
