Max Hermansen, who was the initiator of Monday’s anti-Islam demonstration, says he is angry at TV 2, which showed how one of the channel’s reporters were harassed on the fly one of the protesters.
– First and foremost, I angry 2 TV, because here is a man who does something stupid and unacceptable being hung out for a whole world with that stupid he has done. I do not think TV 2 has followed the Code of Ethics, Section 3.9 as a short text saying that you cherish people against themselves, says Hermansen, who maintains that TV2 should not have broadcast the clip.
Hermansen explains in a lengthy interview with News Channel Tuesday afternoon that he knew the person before the demonstration.
– I knew nothing about the man before I met him during the march yesterday. He went foremost in the march, and I talked with him as I spoke with several others. I asked him why he was on our march, and did not get any good answers, says Hermansen.
TV 2 Editor: – Approached our live
TV2 News Editor Jan Ove Årsæther says there was no doubt that the incident took place on Monday, had published.
– This is a person who chooses to consult our live and expressing racist opinions. I do not see that we should handled this in a different way, says Årsæther.

Editor Tor Bach wasp, a magazine mapping extreme environments mean that the person harassed TV2 reporter Kadafi Zaman on the fly, not standing outside Islam hostile environment who participated in Monday’s demonstration.
– He’s probably representative of a good part of those who participated. It is no surprise that in such events and in this type of environments are people who express themselves in this way, says Bach to TV 2.
