– The asylum seeker is transported to Tromsø, where he is being taken care of by the health service, said operations Joran Bugge in Troms Police District told NRK.

Police have established criminal after he climbed over the fence to Seterveien kindergarten Bardu Monday. He should have made contact with one or more children, before he was alone with an employee outside the nursery.

The man has lived on Setermoen state reception centers for asylum seekers in around one month, according to the reception center Per Inge Kristiansen.

– We have not had any indications that he could do such a thing in the community. We’ve had some challenges with him internally on the reception that he has been in conflict with other residents, says Kristiansen told NRK.

– Came as a shock

Reception was contacted by kindergarten Monday and came out at once.

We have good control over residents and those who have mental problems we see many times a day, says center manager Per Inge Kristiansen.

– It came as a shock to us when we heard what he had done. When we arrived at the nursery was already police in place. We appreciate them were promptly present, tells the receiving manager.

The man is an asylum seeker, and Kristiansen does not know where his case stands. He stayed at Setermoen its personalized department for asylum seekers with special assistance needs.

– Meanwhile, we are a decentralized reception, which means that residents live in ordinary houses. There is no form of control of entry and departure. There are residents who basically manages itself, but who need additional help and support in daily life.

Kristiansen explains that the reception is a volunteer place to be at, and that the man was out walking tour when he suddenly entered the nursery.

– I can not comment on his motives for doing such a thing.

– A terrible experience for employees

per Inge Kristiansen has worked at the reception with organized department for 10 years, and during those years, they had four to five events.

– But nobody has been near the severity as today.

He believes that reception generally have a good enough offer to asylum seekers will enable citizens to feel safe.

– In this case there has been an event that we absolutely do not want and that we did not foresee at all. We think it is very regrettable and we realize that kindergarten employees have been subjected to a terrible experience.

The reception is now in dialogue with the UDI and the police about how to work with case .

the municipality has initiated crisis team after the incident, and has had a meeting with the employees of the kindergarten and the police.
