Kindergarten Employee charged with assaulting two children – Bergens Tidende

A man is charged with assaulting two children in a kindergarten in Bergen. He denies the allegations strongly.

Last week it became known that a daycare employee was charged after he allegedly abused five children two Bergen kindergartens.

in February told BT about another kindergarten in Bergen where a man was charged with assault.

Now it turns out therefore that the Bergen police are investigating a third man who is charged with assault against two kindergarten children.

the story came to light when one of the children told their parents at home about what would have happened in the nursery once in the last year. The child described a male employee at the nursery who assaulted the child and another child.

Both children have been questioning the Children house in Bergen.

– He stands utterly incomprehensible accusation refusing course, says the man defender.

the suspect worked at the nursery for a longer period of last year. He had a valid police certificate showing that he was fit to work with children.





Police confirms investigation

BT are told that parents referred it to the police and that they two children were appointed each counsel. The man was arrested on 11 January. Police made several seizures, including his computer equipment, get BT illuminated.

– I can confirm a man has status as charged. It is seized, and almost everything is covered. It is not found anywhere in brackets linking the accused to review. We have children’s explanation on one side and accused others, enlightens police superintendent Svein Føllesdal at Bergen west precinct to BT.

The man’s lawyer is aware that his client is innocent.

– to me it looks just as baseless and false. There were no grounds for detention, the lawyer said.
