The woman was a passenger in the car. The extent of damage is unknown, but she was unconscious when she was taken out of the car, police said in Sor-Trondelag said.
– It was initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and now she is in transport to St. Olav. There were two people in the car. The driver got out and land unharmed, said operations manager Trond Volden at midnight on Saturday.
The police was notified of the accident by other road clock 22.42 on Friday evening. The car was lying on the roof in the river, and only the wheels were visible above the water when the police patrol arrived at the scene.
– The messages we received was that it was very slippery at the site, but would not speculate on the cause of the accident, says violence.
