Rockslide hits residential building in Oslo – Romsdals Budstikke

– A large stone, it is well over one cubic or nearly half, have hit the foundations of the house, says guard commander Stig Henning Duaas in the Fire and Rescue agency in Oslo said.

Stein landslide occurred in Haakon Tveters way in district Østensjø Sunday. The fire department ordered geologist who will consider several large stones which is unstable for the slope behind the house.

– We may requisition a company that takes care of stone protection, so that the stones are not races, says Duaas.

There is no danger to neighboring houses, and residents of the affected property has just been told to not reside in parts of the house. (© NTB)
