Four to emergency after heavy townhome fire – Drammens Tidende

A terraced house in Berger was completely destroyed in an intense fire Tuesday. Four people, hence one child, are transported to the emergency call for the check.

SVELVIK : it was just before 08:30 this morning that it was turned full alarm with the emergency services. A terraced house in Kringsjå road at Berger in Stornoway was on fire.

Police, ambulance and firefighters from three stations who managed the place.

Fire Brigade went quickly with fighting, but feared for some time that the fire would spread to the neighboring house.

scene commander in the police, Geir Bodahl, said two units were lit and completely destroyed in the fire.

– Divided into two units staying there a total of seven people, hence one child of about one year. All are unaccounted for and got out, he informs us.

Each was seen by paramedics on site, but only four were taken to the emergency department for further investigation.

Operations police, Marianne Mørch, according to NTB that the child is placed under observation in hospital in Drammen.

the powerful fire was visible for several kilometers distance. A reader on the other side of the bay, at Holmsbu, reports that powerful black smoke rose from the town house. Also in the Holmestrand could see black smoke.

Police said it is currently unknown how the fire occurred.
