Fire in apartment – Bergens Tidende

Fire at Askøy. Woman refused to leave the apartment.

A little before ten o’clock Sunday morning notify the fire department if a fire in apartment Stølabakken on Ash Askøy.



Refused to go out

– We got notification about a fire in an apartment. There are six apartments in the wooden building. Neighbors tried to get out person from the apartment, but the person refuses to leave, says guard commander Ole Jakob Hartviksen the 110 exchange in Bergen clock 10:08.

Police and health is on the spot.

the fire Department has crews from both Askøy and Bergen in place.

– the woman who refused to leave the apartment is taken care of, says guard commander.

There went out a triple warning (for health, fire and police) clock 09.52.



Run around with a knife

– on the way out we got the message that there was a woman in the apartment who refused to go out. It should have been very much smoke in the apartment. The woman ran around with a knife in his hand, said operations manager Hans-Eirik Thue Western Police District.

The police had taken care of the woman. She is now entrusted to health professionals.
