Just after half past twelve on Saturday night could Rail announce that stretch Larvik Skien on Vestfoldbanen was cleared and opened to traffic again.
An hour earlier section was Bo-Lunde Sørlandsbanen reopened after closing earlier evening due to lack of power supply.
– Running wires swaying too much in the wind in many places, making sure the trains can not run. All closures are mostly related to extreme weather, told pressevakt Kjell Bakken Rail NTB Saturday night.
Rail has had enough to contend with while extreme weather Nina has swept across the country, and it’s early Saturday night still uncertain whether there will be more closed stretches during the night.
