Airport Manager Leif Lorentzen says to Aftonbladet that the wind has not yet led to delays in Sola.

– We have closed four streets out to the west because of the wind. We have moved the departures of streets farther on land, and also use the bus to transport passengers to and from any aircraft, says Lorentzen.

A few extra plane landed at Sola because Flesland is closed.

– How does it look ahead?

– If the wind increases further, we must consider what we should do. Western vinnd not preclude aircraft can take off and land. But we get stuck on the ground floor, with shipping of passengers, baggage and for fueling. It is in case these conditions will do that we can not operate the airport, says Lorentzen.
