According to police, the woman was found near Ypsilonbrua late Thursday night.
– We did notice the clock 22.52. The woman was observed in the river just outside the police station, and people here ran out on foot. The fire department had a diver in the river after five minutes and got picked her up, said operations manager Marianne Dark in South-Eastern Police District told VG.
Those who found the woman should not have gotten in touch with her, but she was alive when she was taken care of paramedics.
Currently, knows the police are not the woman’s identity.
– We can not yet say if there is suspicion of a crime, because we have no idea what has happened, says Dark.
