Company will operate reception centers for over twenty municipalities – refuses to say who owns them – Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): Yesterday announced UDI list of companies that have applied to operate reception centers in Norway.

Some are well-known operators, such as Hero and Link. Others are only starting out.

One of the biggest applicants company Humaq AS, which currently stands registered in the Company registers.

They will operate reception centers for over twenty municipalities in UDI region west and south, but will not disclose who owns them or who sits on the board.

– Humaq AS is founded by personnel with backgrounds in business, contingency environment and other social institutions. It is p.t not desirable to disclose who the founders of the company when any of these are in leading positions in other companies today, says lawyer Line Aspøy Berge in an email to Dagbladet.

On its website shows that companies have started hiring people to the company and that they have allied themselves with staffing agency recruitment agency.

Still, says Berge that the company will first register in Brønnøysund Register if they get the green light from UDI to conduct reception.

– There is no secrecy, but in that not everything is done yet, we want to keep their cards close to the chest, says Tor Ludwig Wårøy, who also represents the company.



Understands curiosity

He said that not all shareholders in place yet, which means that the company wants to be careful not to publish the names.

Settled in a few weeks

Several of the applicants have never run reception centers before and have completely new companies.

97 applications were submitted in the application round which was made public yesterday. It is now up to the various regional offices to decide what offers UDI shall enter into a contract with. These assessments will be done in a matter of weeks.
