Woman sentenced to 13 years imprisonment for murder in Trondheim – VG

A 36-year-old woman is in the High Court sentenced to 13 years in prison for complicity in the killing of Vibeche Sofie Falck Danielsen (48) in Trondheim.

Frostating Court known Wednesday the woman guilty, and Friday came sentencing, according to Adresseavisen.

Missed in five days

having been missing for five days was 48 years old Vibeche Sofie Falch Danielsen found dead in Nidelva in Trondheim on 20 January 2014. A 49 year old man is in the High court sentenced to 13 years in prison for murder. Sør-Trøndelag District Court sentenced him first to 14 years in prison after finding it proved that he and his then partner (36) had taken Danielsen through downtown Trondheim in an electric wheelchair, before they dumped his body in the river.



First dropped

36-year-old was initially suspected of complicity in the murder, but the case was dismissed. When 49-year-old appeal case came up before the High Court, he changed his explanation and enlightened by her boyfriend was involved in the murder. This led to 36-year-old was arrested and prosecuted.

Both the district court and the appellate court has the 36-year-old woman denied guilt. She explained during both trials that she relied on a door frame in the bedroom when the murder happened.

The court does not believe that and also believe she was guilty, after a police witness at the trial stated that bloodtracking shows that she must have been only a meter away while the 48-year-old woman was killed with an ax.
