– We have noted good results in a turbulent period both for financial markets and Norwegian companies, says Olaug Svarva, managing director of Folketrygdfondet in a statement.

The fund’s market value increased by 12.8 billion, and accounted for at year-end 198 400 000 000 kroner.
An increase in value of shares of 9.9 percent and bonds by 2.9 percentage ensured that the overall return was 7 percent. This is somewhat lower than the average of 7.6 for the last 10 years.
