Imprisonment meeting took place in Oslo District Court Saturday. In line with the prosecutor’s contention, the Court decided that Bhatti may be held in custody for four weeks and that he imposed letter and restraining the first week of detention period.
The police justified their petition that they believe there is a risk of recurrence and for destruction of evidence. 37-year-old appealed the decision on the spot.
– He thinks it is wrong that there are reasonable grounds for suspicion of assault, says Bhatti’s lawyer, John Christian Elden, said.
Bhatti was arrested Thursday night . He is charged with assault under particularly aggravating circumstances, covered by the Penal Code section 228.
