Police started around 12:30 today search after it went an avalanche at Lyngseidet Troms, NRK reported.

– We are traveling with crews to get an overview of the area. There are no reports of any missing. But we know that a person has stayed in the area and that he has come out, says operations in Troms Police Roy Tore Meyer told Dagbladet.

Just before at 13.00 today announces Troms Police that the slide was around 600 meters long. A witness who observed breeds according to police ruled that there were people in the area.

It was sent a legehelikopter with dog handler to landslide area.

– It is generally large avalanche danger in the north now says Operations Officer.
