Ryanair case shall be by Norwegian laws – Romsdals Budstikke

Ryanair case shall be by Norwegian laws – Romsdals Budstikke

The Court of Appeal has previously ruled that the case should be recognized Norwegian court. Acting Vegard Einan Parat believes the Irish airline must now change the operating model and relate to Norwegian laws and regulations.

The court writes that there can be no doubt that Ryanair operates from Moss Airport Rygge, similarly that the company is doing in a number of other countries, although the company is headquartered in Ireland and operations are organized there.

The court describes the Italian citizenship Alessandra Cocca, that her training took place in Germany and that she has valet cost based on Norwegian passenger basis. She has only been in Ireland once, and then to receive the resignation, writes Acting Judge Geir Sunde Haugland.

– This applies many of the employees of Ryanair. They have no connection to Ireland and it is totally unfair that Cocca in this case would meet for Irish law and even pay Irish lawyers. The court’s decision is based on the case she won on the question of which country’s court should issue, says Parat attorney Christen Horn Johannessen.

The question was considered by the Supreme Court in December 2013 and a new court decision in Court of Appeal in March 2014. (© NTB)
