Police in western Norway got a surprise when they discovered why the woman ran so wobbly.
Several motorists reported to police at Sunnmøre Saturday afternoon about a car that vacillated a lot of roads in Brus valley just outside Ålesund, writes Sunnmørsposten.
the police stopped the motorist and it turned out that there was a woman in their 40s who had failed to put down knitting when she ran.
– she stretched rubber band a little too far, you might say. The woman was reviewed and driving license confiscated, says operation leader Borge Amdam VG.
He says that woman regretted very upon realizing the gravity of the running knitting.
– She was very upset, but understood why we had to take the driving license and report her. There were several motorists who had reacted to run her and reporting this. It is a violation of traffic safety and create a potential danger both for the driver himself and for other road users, says Amdam.

Surgical manager adds that this is one of the more special cases they have experienced. It’s not every day they stop motorists who knits while driving.
– People can find the strangest things when they are running. They do a lot of things, and one hears for example, cases where individual fails to take your hands off each other when they run. This incident is still pretty high on the list with us, says Amdam.
