(Dagbladet): Around 02.00 in the night, a man in the 50′s have been assaulted in his own home in Dunstable, said operations manager Kjell-Reidar Johansen at South East police to Dagbladet.
– He was exposed for aggravated assault and is now in hospital in Drammen with serious injuries, says Johansen.
the police was notified of the incident approximately at 3:30 in the night, said Operations Officer.
– It emerged then that between one and three unknown assailants had beaten the man, slashed him with a knife, stripped him valuables and then disappeared, says Johansen.
– He had blood in the lungs, and was so exhausted that we have not been able to take some explanation from him, he elaborates opposite NTB.
the man was then driven straight to hospital, where he was admitted to intensive care with what is described as serious injuries. He should be conscious, according to operation manager’s information.
Police technical investigators have worked in the man’s residence since at 6:00 this morning. In addition, the company is aiming to obtain images of current surveillance camera nearby.
Police are per now unsure how perpetrators should have gotten into the man’s residence.
– the man has said he did not know the perpetrators, and we do not know what is the reason for the assault, says Johansen dt.no.
According to police information shall man have stolen a mobile phone. Johansen is uncertain whether – and if so what else should have been taken.
