VINJE / ROMSDAL: It was the 29-year-old climber Kris Roar Tveiten Edland who was found dead in a car in Romsdal at Easter.
It confirms police inspector at Rauma police Station, Sindre Mittet, to TA Friday afternoon.
The final autopsy report is not ready, but Mittet reports that the police can not see that there is any criminal act behind the death and that the cause of death probably occurred under unfortunate circumstances.
Tveiten was found dead just hours after he was called for the police. Then had not climbing the friends and family heard from Tveiten of 14 days.
The deceased is highly profiled in climbs environment and he should have been alone in the attractive hiking when he was found dead. In the area are peaks Romsdal, Vengetind, Juratind, Kirketaket and Thu Hammaren.
29-year-old white Volkswagen Transporter was then found in a parking lot at Isfjorden in Romsdal. The car had been left in the same parking lot for 14 days, and when it was checked was the man dead inside the car where he probably had spent the night.
Police suspect that the death was due to illness or an accident, and he is therefore sent to autopsy in Trondheim to reveal the cause of death. The preliminary autopsy report will not be available.
